Deadly Cherries, Zachary Taylor, and The Al Franken Show

This morning ( our own) Tom Hughes of The FOOD Museum was a contestant on The Al Franken Show, on  Air America Radio. Why? Because Tom correctly answered the question,"What fruit killed President Zachary Taylor?"  Then he went on to play successfully the faux game show, "Wait, Wait, Don't Lie to Me."

Since he's from The FOOD Museum Tom knew that "Old Rough and Ready" purportedly ate too many bowls of cherries with "iced milk" on July 4, 1850,  got gastronentiritis, and died.
