Thanks, Win--Yes--I am hopeful re the greening of Amurrica. As I have mentioned before, Reagan promptly removed Jimmy Carter's solar panels from the White House on his arrival, among other moves that set the country back decades in the alternative energy biz. Nutty.
I mean even the buggy whip manufacturers looked to new business ideas...

Thanks for covering another innovative urban food production experiment going on in NYC. You also covered the High Line project, transforming an abandoned Manhattan elevated train line into a garden.

Projects like these point to Ralph Nader's notion that we already know the solutions to all the problems we have, we just don't use them.
