Not food, I admit, but I cannot stand this--two blogs I read regularly have featured two entries in which the word/phrase "it's" has been misused. All of us see "its" and "it's" misused EVERYWHERE, don't we? How difficult is this?????????????
If you want to say "it is" in a shortened manner, then use the apostrophe. "It's" means "it is." If you want to say "the duck belonging to it" in a shortened way, you say "its" duck waddled away.
Clear? Thank you.
Right--and another thing--it's "the Clintons" not "the Clinton's."
